I know a mate from our forum who spend a lot of money for an interface with original ELM327 v1.4 inside and he burned in few week and I'm wondering for what? Skapang elm327 interface is about 108 UK pounds. In conclusion VagCom 409.1 and ELM327 v1.3a chinese ones are cheap and good and you can buy them from, so why you need to spend a lot of your money for a baby tool, just because they said that it has 'original ELM327' inside and much more of this ELMScan is pretty old tool. I had an ELM327 v1.3a chinese one before and that one was great as well. I'm useing an ELM327 v1.4 chinese one and it works like a charm. If it can work on 34800 bauds it's ok, but I don't think so. I think it has a elm v1.2 inside, so if it can work just on 9600 bouds.
